The Lads’ Tribune was founded on July 24, 2016 in Buffalo, NY.
My best friend was moving to another city and to be honest, I was not ready for that to happen. I coped with it the only way I knew how to: To Drink.
Just Kidding. I wrote the very first article for the Lads’ Tribune. At that moment, it was just a funny goodbye present. The post ended up being so awesome. It received a great response from everyone who saw it and it made Patrick’s leaving a little easier on all of us.
The inspiration behind The Lad’s Tribune is from Derek Jeter’s website, The Players Tribune. Professional Athletes use this website as an outlet of communication. It gives you an inside look on players emotions and feelings and shows you more than just the athlete-side of them that we wall know; it is a look-in on the real person.
We strive to be an outlet for the everyday person. If you want to write about something important in your life, but your 40-yard dash time wasn’t at the top of the combine list, this is the place for you. Whether it be a new adventure you are taking on in your life, or a once-in-a-lifetime memory, or even just a fun weekend you had with your friends, then drop us a line on the contact page!
So this serves as an outlet for whoever else may have something to say. Whether it’s a goodbye letter to a friend moving away or you just want to post about some fun you had this past weekend, this is the place for you.
Thanks for the support and always remember #LadsRunDeep.
